Stillwater was on site in August doing a chemical wash/re-coating project. As in past projects Al and his crew were prompt, professional and responsive to any questions/comments I had. I have a lot of confidence in Stillwater and am anticipating another project with them in 2023.
Quality craftmanship
The crew replaced the corner log ends that were rotten, custom built a balcony railing and cleaned and painted the house. The craftsmanship was top notch. The house looks amazing!
We will not hesitate to use Stillwater Log Homes in the future.
I was told they hear this all the time, however, it bears repeating- The work crew was great, knowledgeable, actually very quiet and responded to all the questions I had.
The project was so much better than I had expected-We had rotting sections of logs that were replaced and finished exactly as the rest of the house stands, color wise. They could have told me the chinking needed replacing as I thought it had completely broken down and it wasn’t. The Sikkens products they used were a new formula and seem to be outstanding. They said they were going to put 2 coats of finish on and they did even though the cottage would have looked great with only one coat, but since they had contracted for 2 they did just that. They got things done right now and when I contracted the owner with questions, he got right back to me. We had refinished the cottage twice ourselves and this was pure joy to have them in and give us a wonderful result.
